Not in my book.
Plates like the mod plate illustrated are all over a Spitfire. It is possible to check the three digit mod number to see which component or sub assembly of the aircraft is referred but I do not have the mod lists to hand.
This plate indicates that the component that it was attached to was made at the Shrewsbury dispersal site of the Castle Bromwich plant.
