British Warbirds

Is there anyone out there who is privy to the internal workings of any of the major collections who might be able to comment on something that has always puzzled me. Why is it that knowone seems to be particularly interested in some of the other British Warbirds. There seems to be quite a large number of Tempest and Firefly airframes around which seem to find it difficult to find buyers. Both of these aircraft would not be that horendous (comparitively) when it comes to spares and yet they seem to be quite unloved.

TFC of course have their Beaufighter and Gladiator projects but everything else seems to be a bit thin on the ground. I am sure that if you were to get together several interested parties, even a project like multiple Typhoons could be achieved (with the exception of the engines that is). Just curious.
