From AB-IX
"I recently acquired a copy of "Bristol - An Aircraft Album" published
by Ian Allen in 1973. Having spent a lot of time compiling the survey
of surviving Bristol aircraft on my website, I was intrigued by a few
lines at the end of the Blenheim section, which lists survivors, and
reads:
"... and an unidentified Blenheim buried in the upper reaches of the
River Severn - this aircraft recently came to the surface and
appeared to be in remarkably good condition but sank again before
salvage attempts could begin."
Does anyone recall anything about this, from the early 1970's or late
60's e.g. date and location?"
