Hi Cees,
The Defiants that were discussed were lost into the Moray Firth off Inverness.
The Firth of Forth is a different and much larger estuary to the north of Edinburgh.
The list of aircraft lost into the Forth is extensive and the bulk were into the water surrounding the Isle of May. A quick look at the files gives the following in addition to those listed in the article (but not limited to):
