As noted below I was present at this attempted engine run and the sight and sound was very impressive. It was mentioned over the PA system that the first flight is scheduled for this year and this will take place from Manching. I for one can't wait to see this aircraft join the airshow circuit. As an aside, the lettering on Flug Werk's van was also quite entertaining: "Flug Werk - Kampfflugzeuge aller Arten" ("Flugwerk - Any Type of Combat Aircraft")...!
