Nobody thinks you do. These discussions are what makes it so fun to do. Your opinion makes other people think about it and they post their opinion, this always makes interesting reading as well as giving a general picture of the pro's and cons of a certain event in this case the donating of the Hampden nose section to Canada.
When I first read about it those years ago I did not even knew such a thing was still exant. And as Peter states, the pile of debris has been turned into a complete airframe. I also think it should be brought inside to preserve it better and also should be fitted with the correct engines and propellors. A coat of camouflage paint would be nice as well.
Does anybody know anything about the quality of the restoration work?
