Hi Peter. I think this might be the one pictured in Flypast a while ago. It was a glider tug, I think, which came down around the time of the Normandy landings. Was reputedly used as a chicken coop and as such had the floor filled with concrete. The team who are trying to recreate a Stirling have looked at the section and unfortunately the concrete has taken it's toll on the structure, so they say, and also the museum won't let the section go. Still, it's nice to know it is out there, with the original paintwork still showing as I remember.
