Hi Cees,
Just as a follow up to what you've stated, I'm not entirely sure if the wood that Glyn used for the static fuselage was of an incorrect type, but rather that it wasn't of airworthy standard. I don't know the answer, but would suggest that it was more likely just non-airworthy material.
The second fuselage (as far as I know), is the one bound for incorporation into Glyn's own project, which I believe from memory, is the Australian built A52-1053, and which later served with the RNZAF. The desire is that this aircraft will eventually fly.
