Warbirds in Canada

Seems that since Transport Canada amended the regs regarding the registration and operation of ex-military Aircraft in Canada (CAR Standard 507.03 (5)(b)) there's some new and interesting (too Canadians at least) popping up on the registry. These include the two Spits (MKIV & MKXVI) now showing on the register, a Scottish Aviation Bulldog, two Hawker Hunters (ex SE-DXE & DXF) a few L-29s. I've heard of some other interesting ones coming but can't say what. Sorry to see C-FUZZ (P-51D) leave and the Alberta Rose Corsair for sale but hopefully they'll be some interesting aircraft replacing them in Canadian skies.
Hopefully the changes in the Regs will help generate a more life into the warbird scene in the great white north.
Keep em' flying....eh!
