Our

: why? Are we any worse off with another image less violent

Our problems do start small. We oversensitize our children so that they are effected by the slightest thing. They get picked on in school and they take as being disrespected, so they shoot each other. I think the general population is complacent and looking for stuff too whine about. It's human nature to struggle. Struggle for food, struggle for shelter. The problem is that for the most part we don't have to struggle. Until 9/11 the US hadn't been directly attacked since WWII. So before that people had the freedom to think that violence wasn't an answer but unfortunately it is. Violence happens and will always happen. Because the moment you put down your stick there will be someone else to pick it up and whack you with it.

You ask is we could chose a less violent image for the CF B-24? It's a BOMBER! A representative of one of the most violent types of machine. It is a historical representation of an actual piece of artwork. this artwork was painted on a plane that flew to defend us.

Now your entitled to your opinion. These men flew and died to protect that. But you dishonor there memory by trying to lessen what they did by making history "nice". It wasn't nice, it was horrible. Millions died and millions more were "traumatized".

Your children have the luxury of being desensitized. They only have to watch it on TV. Remember all the kids in London during the blitz, or anywhere in Europe for that matter. WWII was allowed to expand because complacent people desperately wanted to deny that violence exsisted. It does exsist and periodically we have to deal with it. Your kids should know this, should understand this, or they or there kids will be the ones in concentration camps.

Make your kids learn history. Use the nudity on the CF B-24 to open a discussion with your kids. Make them learn, because if they don't learn then we are all doomed.
