How anyone can say that the halibag is a better looking aircraft than the lancaster, is beyond me.
The Halifax looks like a pregnant duck while the Lanc IS beautiful and graceful and the sound of those four merlins is absolutely ................. (sorry, miles away) heaven.
Even the Whitley is better looking!
I will however concede that the version with front turrets, was a improvement and even looks like a bomber.
