Cees, it's the discovery, recovery and restoration of rare warbirds that floats my boat.
I have been a "lurker" for ages and usually check the board a couple of times a week for news. I rarely post because i usually don't have any information to add to the discussions, but enjoy reading them all the same.
I don't have any connection with the warbird world through family or personal involvment, i just love warbirds, always have, ever since i built my first Airfix kit as a child and visited Hendon on a school trip. The BBMF used to fly very low over my families home in Worcestershire on the same day and time every year (don't know where they were going), which really sticks in my memory.
