Thanks for the welcome, let me start with a disclaimer : "I am not an expert! :O) - Just an enthusiast!", I was loitering around the flypast forum till I was shown the direction!
Reg the Hurricane from BHU, it really took time for us to confirm it was a Hurricane, none of the average indian news journalist can tell a Hurricane from a Dakota (Infact a dakota would be the only name he can identify as an OLD aircraft) hence all reports just said a WW2 Aircraft. I really doubt even if the university staff knew what aircraft it was....
The Halibags are from across the border, apparently all of them were scrapped. do a google search on www.defencejournal.com they ahve an article on the Halifaxes in the Pakistani Air Force.
No news on the Hurri at the tea shop. have to await news on it though.
