It's true Dave, the same thing happened to the BBMF. I was talking to Jerry at Anglia Radiators a while back when he mentioned that he had reconditioned some spit oil coolers for the BBMF, these were the original round MKI type and rather rare, even the RAFM MKI's have either the later oval type or none at all. The MoD ordered them to have a clear out at some stage and, yes you guessed it, they were skipped, just after us, the taxpayers, had forked out to have them done up, b****y sickening really as at least they could've given them to the RAFM.
