Who is Brian Barnes?
http://www.canavbooks.com/Editorial/ThePublisherSoundsOff.shtml
In other news Hugh Fraser [now passed on] of 439 Sqn reported that divers have located the wreck of John Saville's Typhoon off Guernsey. Brian Barnes, in ordering a book, casually mentioned that he has the remains of a Typhoon. His bits 'n pieces are from JR505 (137 & 198 Sqns), struck off charge on June 12, 1945. Brian writes: "With luck the complete fuselage will be restored within five years. The wings will be a problem ... If any of your Canadian contacts know the whereabouts of any Typhoon material, I would certainly be glad to hear from them." Write to Brian at 53 Yarningale Road, Coventry, CV3 3EN, England.
