Hi Tom - wonder if it's the same grey as the Czech Jumo engined Me109s - S199/CS199s - some of which ended up in Israel.
If it is - then I think after much debate, the conclusion was drawn that the funny greeny-grey colour was in fact RLM02 left over from Luftwaffe stocks.
Just an idea - it might be miles off, mate
