I have always suspected there was an element of politics surrounding the wreckage of this machine. Perhaps it is part of the Gardomoen/Bodo saga. There was reluctance to actually show me the aircraft on a specific and agreed visit to do just that at Gardomoen and but for the intervention of Anders Saether, visiting on the day in his B26, it would not have happened.
It is in good hands in Sweden.
