I hear that a P-38 has just been recovered near Berlin by the USAF and that the pilot was found on board. He was Wing Commander Adrian Warburton DSO DFC (RAF) - or so it is said. I have known this recovery to be in the offing for a long time but have only just heard that it has happened. Does anyone out there know anything more or am I behind the times? Andy Saunders.
