Are these by any chance, the Texas Warbirds Museum's FW-190s?
If so, I can say that when I saw the airframes back in Oct. 2000, without knowing more about them, I thought that the workmanship was shoddy. I saw metal sections overlapping one another (already riveted) and thought that would make wonders for the airflow. In general, I was not impressed at all with the FW-190s, although I was anxious to see them. If these are the ones I am talking about, they were located in the Rio Grande Valley area, in Rio Hondo, TX.
