Hi Mike.
No 1.
I don't think the TFC example claims to be 45-49192 any longer.
As I recall, "No Guts, No Glory" used one wing from the real 49192 ,and one from "South America".
No 2.
The remains of 49192 when given to the IWM, comprised of the more or less intact cockpit section with the rear fuselage totally smashed.
I think it used it's remaining, more badly damged wing in the restoration, along with a very good one from the Netherlands that was complete with undercarriage.
Along with many other bits and pieces, some new build, it made a very fine restoration of the Genuine 45-49192.
It also has the original type Rayon tyres from Butch Schroeder's Thunderbolt.
