My first trip to Chino was in '85...this jug was in the jig at Fighter Rebuilders in "Tar Heel Hal" markings sans wings. From what I understood it was a 0 time fuse with the rebuilt wings. When completed she was painted in a generic T-bolt scheme of natural metal and a red cowl. The wings were also in vertical jigs at the time of my visit. The Museum's razorback was in the "yard" receiving its final bits of paintwork. Ahh the good old days!!
