As far as is known only two genuine Russian built Mig 15s exist in the west. One at USAFM, Dayton Ohio - the famous defector aircrfat and the example held by the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, Australia, the fuselage currently on display in Aeroplane HAll as part of the Korean exhibition.
This aircraft was acquired in 92/93 from the USSR direct.
