Ross

I knew you would be the man.. They were with 330 Sqn in Iceland and as you know they were under control of Coastal Command!

Anyway, can't help with and ID All Northorp N-3's appear to have kept orginal Norwegian Serials even though the Sqn was under control of RAF. Must be a rare occasion for that!

There were 24 aircraft ordered from the US before German invasion of Norway

I have seen reference to No. 18 and so would imagine numbers 1 to 24!

I would image

: Curious.
:
: F23 crashed on the 24/07/41 not 42 and was from No.330 Sqn
: not No.333.
:
: The ORB of the time records:
:
: Kpt H A Bugge RNorNAS, Safe.
:
: Aircraft No.23. Night landing practice at Fossvogur. Turne
: d over onto nose and sank in 15 feet of water. The aircraf
: t was salvaged but declared damaged beyond repair.
