You know that some 3000 a/c crashed in norway during the war and they are very, very ambitious in recovering a/c. The B17 wasn't very important to norway so they're choosing to recover other aircraft instead - at least that's my guess. They do have a 2,5 meter fuselage section of a B17 in Bod? which was recovered in France.

Just a few weekends ago (in august) they recovered the remains of Norduyn Norseman Mk.VI. Serienummer: 44-70546, C/N: 811. That was the project that the Bod? museum did directly after the trip where they recovered remains for the Ju 88 project (4 wrecks were searched). In addition to that at least two other Ju 88 wrecks have been visited this summer by the same guys. One of these days I'll do something on my website with photos I took from the expedition to the 4 Ju 88 wrecks.
