hi Dave,
just found masons book on the tiffie he credits british aerospace ( from hawker archives ) as sources for his drawing information, Can't find my photocopies of the scale model articles but will keep looking. the correct name of the 'drawer' is A.L.Bentley
also found by accident ! photocopies of pilot's notes for the operation of the sabre II aero engine
issue No;3 july 1943 by D.Napier & son ltd. Acton.
an ex 183 sq pilot let me copy them.
If you haven't got them already let me know and I will send scans.
