The WIX gets reviewed in the new Aeroplane Monthly.

Heres part of the review, there is an interesting slant on things here though :-)

"With the arrival of Paul Coggan's Warbirds Index website and its rapidly growing "WarbirdTorque" forum, hosted by Aeroplane's own site in conjunction with Airlife Publishing, this month is a good time to take a general look at some of the other forums and message boards of interest to the vintage and warbird enthusiast.
The gap left by the old Warbirds Worldwide forum is now being filled by the Warbird Index site, but in the meantime has been met in part by the Warbirds Resource Group, which has many forums on topics aviation history, but two in particular related to warbirds themselves: (lists urls for both the main discussion page and current board)
The latter board in particular receives a lot of traffic, although much of it is from the same few people (cheeky buggers !!!). It is a great source of news and gossip and links to stories on obscure sites and in the wider media. An offshoot is devoted to recreating a Westland Whirlwind fighter from old and new parts."

I like the bit about the WIX receiving a lot of traffic and it being a great source of news and gossip, WE ARE THE BEST

Well done everyone who has posted here for making this site what it has become - the best on the web

John
