: Tallichet's company made that one too. Probably the larges
: t fiberglass replica to date. That would make a Lancaster
: eminently possible I would think (????).
The P-38 is the only fake one there...
The B-24 is a rare one, a B-24M then an EZB-24M 44-51228 assigned to the USAF Aero Icing Research Lab and evetually stored at Lackland AFB from 1953-56. It has been on display there since 1956. A more difficult call may be the Provo Utah, Hill AFB museum, "restoring" a P-38 and P-40 plus a B-24. These are wartime relic wrecks being reworked to a static standard. They are by no means structurally sound or airworthy. Do these count as preserved survivors?
