me probably wrong

so - tell me - did all floatplanes have that tailwheel anyway in case they were converted into a landplane at some stage - I'd always assumed they were one or the other but not both. Additionally the (lost) observers glasshouse didn't seem to go back far enough towards the tail - but in retrospect thats probably because the vertical tail wasn't there to give a datum

but yes I did know they had a wheeled u/c as well
wasn't it an option in the Airfix 1/72 kit way back when ;-)
