upon how many RAAF P-40s were recovered from PNG in 1974. Ikeep of reading 4, but find references to at least 5. And no this is not a dual serial issue..
I think Buz Busby or Ausssie Mick are the men who can answer this..
This of course would be the second series... P-40 Mysteries....
The RAF Museum Aircraft is supposed to be:
A29-556 42-106101 dunno where it is....
The other 4 are:
A29-448 42-104730 Flying in NZ with Darby/Hogan but now for sale
A29-405 42-104818 Now suppossed to be with Graham O...
A29-528 42-105710 Stored Barston CA?? Talichet??
A29-1210 44-47812 - MAPS
This ignores dual serial issue...
Of course to complicate this even more, you have to figure out where A29-414 which is with Avspecs came from....
