Hi rob,

Re the three Lancs., I'm not sure how many were there (Wallis island) to start with, but certainly one went to Perth, Western Australia and is well preserved at the RAAF Associaion Museum at Bull Creek - part of an excellent and large indoor display. Another went to MOTAT in Auckland, NZ, again in great shape today. One had extensive work done in Australia then flew back to the UK in the late 1960's (have a feeling this is the ground runner now at East Kirkby - please correct me if wrong) and the French recovered another not that long ago. In all not a bad outcome. Sorry I can't say the same for the Indian B-24s. Hope more comes to light on these via the board.
Cheers, GMO
