Thanks Peter for taking out time to explain this site. I have n't exactly got it marked down as 'confirmed' in my list . now there is no doubt on this.

I do have one query - The references are "IAF technical school" and "Chandigarh Engineering College" - which one is correct?

Second, a scan sent by Paul mentions another rare aircraft (but of interest only to Indians!) called the IAF Kanpur II (s/No. BR560) at the same place (resembles and Aeronca type AOP aircraft)..any idea of the other aviation assets of that college/university?
