It boggles the mind a bit i can grab a piece of .032 T3 put a little cut in the edge.then tare it like paper it takes some effort but you can do it.But if i take a skin off a P40 that just came out of Newguinea and been burried for 40 od years.Not a hope it is much harder it's the same with a P40E that has been in side since the 60s.Funny it still retains it's memory most skins were put on as flat non wheeled skins and when you drill them off they spring back to a flattish sheet.And sometimes wack you in the head.I don't think it's the aluminium so much as the alloys in it.Purer aluminium seems to cope better.
