Brother, if you have something particular to say, come on out and say it. The whole 'troll' facade doesn't suit you.....whoever you are :)
I've thanked the production company for lending their insight into the realities behind the communist curtain of North Korea, and for the video that spurred this whole search. I've thanked the photographers who took the still photos that provided the initial evidence of the planes.
Unfortunately I don't have their names in front of me, and all of my reference material is on my laptop which is somewhere in Irving, Texas being fixed.
Then there is the individual who made this particular board aware of the photographic evidence copyrighted and aired by said production company. That person's lead spurred me, Paul Millan, and others to pursue those leads for confirmation. Unfortunately my ability to reference the name of that particular person was lost when the Warbird Worldwide BBS was unplugged, and my only other reference is on my malfunctioning laptop (I apologize for not keeping it fresh in my memory).
I don't think I'm alone when I say this community in general is more than grateful to those individuals who help shed light on the existence of previously unknown warplanes. On the other hand, when those individuals turn around and whine about not being immediately recognized, it kind of knocks the wind out of the sails in regards to the appreciation they would otherwise be lauded with. If someone wants to be respected for sheding light on the existance of said video, 'beating someone over the head' for it kind of defeats the whole purpose, doesn't it?
I don't think I ever claimed to be the one who "found" this Corsair. I'm just the guy who spent a couple hundred bucks and three months trying to 'confirm' it for the community. Next time, drop me a line and ask me about it before you decide to denigrate someone in a public forum.
Since you have so far failed to speak up as something other than an alias, as soon as my computer is fixed I'll be sure to let everyone know exactly who we need to thank for the insight.
