Personally I would certainly like to see these two aircraft brought back back from extinction.
The HP-42 was a very imporant airliner which put Imperial Airways on the map with some very exotic destinations during the thirties, and with a safety record second to none.
There was a datafile on the HP-42 in Aeroplane not too long ago. IIRC there was some talk of reconstructing one but I am not sure, have to dig the issue out.
The Bombay is a very unsung hero. I'll bet that not many of the regular WIX'ers have every heard of it, especially our American contributors. Don't know if any components from that one are still around.
The Bombay was a true workhorse in the desert and did some sterling work there.
Talking about bringing back extinct types, what about the Handley Page Heyford, or the Handley Page Harrow.
