There was a Hurricane listed as at Patna. I seem to remember trying to locate it, without success, on my first 'Spitfire' trip to India in 1976. I did locate a superb pair of Hurricane outer wings at the Doon School at Dehra Dun. They were a substitute for a T6, minus outer wings, in the cadet technical compound. There was also a Merlin reduction gear, from the Hurricane, with excellent prop hub, still attached, adjacent. Ah!
