But it isn't going to win any beauty contest! After three years of flying on them, it still doesn't warm my heart to walk up to one. I still get that feeling when I see the Mighty Hercules. I definatly think the Air Force made the right decision in contracting for more C-17's. In addition to giving me and Brandon job security, it's just a dang good airlifter. The ongoing war in Afghanistan was just the trial by fire it needed. It's been far better than I ever thought it would be. I am going to Antarctica on one in just a few hours.
