Yes. These are the Barnstormer aircraft
Hurricanes with their construction and identity plates/stencils, are vulnerable to dual project ID.
Not so easy on a Spitfire but I could imagine a Spitfire firewall and two feet of fuselage with firewall c/n plate and a cockpit section, maybe to the tail break, with cockpit c/n plate and both from the same aircraft ..... not so easy.
It happened with a works D type Jaguar and I am not sure how they resolved it.
