It really boggles the mind when I think back on all this. Patton was right to think that Russia would be the enemy, but he never could have concieved the (manufactured)reason. Selling and (giving) the technology to them was just one facet of our deception. All of their loans to build it, all of their successes and all of the misery included was a product of the greed of the very few. Maybe in a few hundred years we will all know who the group of masterminds was. Thanks Tony for putting this up. I hadn't seen this particular page. Note the same propaganda is still at work here, telling us that its really a good idea to take out Saddam, and the like.

Now this is the reason why being captivated by vintage aircraft is so good.
