A news clip from the Ananova web site:
Bodies of pilots identified after 48 years
The bodies of two lost pilots who crashed 48 years ago have been found and identified.
Israelis Lt Eliezer Reisner and Lt Yehuda Katz were aboard the British-built Mosquito when it crashed at sea off Israel in 1953.
The two will now be buried together and their names removed from the wall of servicemen missing in action.
The plane and its pilots were looking for another missing plane when they disappeared off the radar screens.
The last resting place of the pilots remained lost until an amateur diver chanced upon the engine in 1986, reports the Jerusalem Post.
I guess there's not much left of the Mossie. Anybody know any more?
Regards,
Graham.
