Yeah, very sad to see. Such a waste... Don't lift anything if you can't take care of it!
They've kept a float from a He 51B-2 which they recovered at the same time. It's on show at the museum.
A good piece of news is that I discovered some Do 26 remains on show in some museums in Norway when I was there last week. It was rescued before they scrapped one of the aircraft. I'm just waiting for the photos to be developed.
