Do you remember that picture - think it was in Flypast - of the B-36 that undershot the runway at Boscombe Down (well, undershot the whole airfield to be blunt about it) and landed in a field, trundled through various fields, hedges and most of the other rural paraphanalia to be found thereabouts and eventually rolled out on the airfield itself. So far as I can recall, pretty much undamaged! Quite a plane...
