Buy a nice piece of land and then start shopping around for aircraft.
What I would do?
Well, first give the RAFM a large donation to restore W1048(and not use it on other things), then I would order some well known British aircraft manufacturer to build me a new Halifax airframe to airworthy specifications.
When it has flown then donate it to the BBMF, after that I would buy a nice piece of land and build a lovely cottage for me and Brenda, some distance away I would build a T2 Hangar and work on my Halifax, which I also had built by that well known aircraft manufacturer, in the afternoon. I have to get to work in the morning of course.
