Only very remotely many many years ago. When Neville Franklin and I were in joint/single ownership of four Seafires, the worst of the two Mk 46's LA546 was seen as a potential Spiteful/Seafang project. We couldn't find Attacker wings then either and that was 1972.
If a pair of wings were to surface I am sure this could happen. The cost/value ratio would work. A pretty stunning looking machine as well.
