I was last at Duxford in July for Flying Legends.
The situation was as follows:

The B24 and SR71 were inside the AAM and they were in the process of putting the glass front back up. The B25,A10 and C47 are now hanging from the ceiling to make room. Most other aircraft have been moved around a bit.

The F86 has been removed and was in another hangar. Does anyone know why?

Also, the B24 cockpit section "Fightin Sam" has been removed and was in the restoration hangar. Is this heading for Lambeth?

The F15 was outside the AAM, presumably as Gate Guard. The F105 was in pieces in the restoration hangar. An F100 has been hanging in the AAM since it was opened.

The B24 has been assembled but is far from finished. None of the turrets or glazing were fitted and pieces of the tail were missing. The interior, as far as i could see, was completely bare. Much external finishing/painting also is yet to be done. This will all be done inside the AAM, although i have no idea as to the timescale.

With this work and all the movements, the public were only allowed on the gallery and not on the floor.

My personal opinion: it's a bit cramped in there, but rather that than see these aircraft sitting outside in the British weather.

Hope this helps
Stuart
