Awesome site Tony, there is a terriffic amount of fascinating first hand stuff here, and some of the photos are simply beautiful. I love those old Kodakromes. Also, in the article on SB-17's in the desert it mentions visiting the crash sites of several aircraft, including a B-29, Avro Anson and a French F4U-7.... there's also a map of the route taken, which might yield some interesting results even today, given the remoteness.... still, you do have to deal with the Saudi's and that isn't exactly a choice spot right now!
