Below are the status reports listed on the website, which you've probably already seen. This is going to be an interesting aircraft when it comes together. I really wish they'd post some progress photos on their webstie, though. The restoration of any aircraft is always interesting and photo documentation should be an integral part of that restoration.

Werke Nr. 2100 - Restoration programme achievements and progress to date
1991
Aircraft found, purchased and recovered.
Customs clearance, shipping to UK and transport
1992
Aircraft arrived in the UK in March
1993
Found original Combat Report in Norway
1995
Set up the Fw 189 Restoration Society
1995/96
Acquired two new engines
1996
Located Wk/n. 2100's pilot - Lothar Mothes
Acquired one propeller
HRH Prince Michael of Kent, KCVO became an official member of the Society.
'Sky Spy' oil painting - 525 Limited Edition prints all signed by the pilot, Lothar Mothes
Won the prestigious 'Aeroplane Monthly Preservation Project of the Year 1996/97 Award' against stiff opposition.
1997
Fw 189 Gold Tie-Pins - exclusively available via the Society
Lothar Mothes donated his original flying helmet, jacket and pilots wings
'Pilots Portraits' completed with Lothar's survival story and all signed.
1999
Completion of rear undercarriage leg and assembly
2000
V7+1H Registered - G-BZKY
German Embassy gave permission for restoration to original military colours
Acquired an original RB50/30 Camera
Pewter scale model in intricate detail of V7+1H by 'Diverse Images Ltd' see Links for details
Centre Section completely stripped
- removal of badly damaged skins
- all parts that are to be used again have been paint stripped, treated and re-protected
- many new parts produced, all CAA approved
- Stress Engineer, Ron Dack, estimates up to 70% of the original aircraft could be kept when restored
- Centre Section halfway to completion
Outer wings, tailbooms, fins & tailplane transported to Flug Werk, Munich, Germany ready for restoration work to commence.
2001
Airshow Trailer located in America for our future use. Currently awaiting transportation to UK
Spare parts obtained by Flug Werk - tailboom and fin
?20,000 donated for jigs via American Aviation enthusiast, Joe Vaughn. He has also donated enough money to allow the 2 Argos 410 engines to be overhauled - currently 60% complete
Work in progress on fins, rudders and tailplane by Flug Werk
Many structural parts re-manufactured by Airframe Assemblies Ltd, Isle of Wight, UK
