Thats one of the most difficult parts of the whole restoration.

If we return it to how it was when first flown, we have to change the nacelles, tailplane, engine cowlings and props.

If we return it to how it was when it last flew, which is closer to its current configuration, we have to change engines, props, cowlings.

It never flew in its current configuration - It was reengined back to single stage engines for the Radlett airshows, and when placed into storage, it lost many of its cowlings and props etc.

However, all of the parts with the aircraft have been with it for over forty years, so we have decided to retain all of the parts currently with it, and return it to the configuration seen at the Radlett airshow, and if possible to display it (eventually), in a similar manner, showing all the different things it could carry.

The most important thing though is in documenting the rebuild carefully, to show parts that are being replaced, and that do not relate to the original aircraft. Its going to be a tough one - this is one of the most significant aircraft in the world, and we aren't going to spoil it with a poor standard job.
