In typical, generous, Brit-mode, I'll overlook the speeling prob ;-)
However, you've got your engineering standards, and we've got ours (a might prefer yours, but that's not for discussion now) ! I won't bother with the BSF/BSW thing, but, as far as pipe couplings are concerned, in nearly all Brit cases, the thread used is BSP (Brit Std Pipe).
