Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the very comprehensive information, now we at least know what it all takes to produce one single mainspar. But as soon as someone succeeds in making these very important Corsair-items then the number of projects will increase dramatically don't you think? This will have the effect to decrease the costs and everybody will be happy in the end.
This goes to show once more what an enormous amount of effort and money was spent on producing these aircraft during the war years alone.
