Good morning to you all on this bl**dy hot monday morning from a blistering office.
I was wondering what has happended with the supply of Curtiss electric propellors the last ten years or so. I remember reading that at the end of the eighties there was concern about not being able to restore P-40's because of the rarity of the Curtiss propellors. The past ten years has seen an enormous increase of P-40 projects, including a lot of new material from Russia. Surely if the situation would have been that desperate then, what happened that the situation has improved apparently?
I know that the Hamilton Standard blades for the P-51 have been put in production on a limited scale recently, has the same happened to the Curtiss propellors?
